Terms of Service

1. Preamble

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between you ("User", "you") and I. Angelov ("Provider", "we") regarding the use of the CuttingOpt.Pro service ("the Service"), available at https://cuttingopt.pro/.

By registering or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service description

CuttingOpt.Pro is an online calculator for optimizing material cutting (stocks → cuts). The Service offers:

• Free plan with basic features and a monthly limit
• Paid plans (Hobby, Pro) with extended features

3. Registration and account

3.1 Requirements

• Age 16+ years
• Valid email address
• Strong password (min. 8 characters, digit, special character)

3.2 User responsibilities

• Keeping your credentials secret
• Immediate notification on compromised account
• Accuracy of provided data

3.3 One account per person

Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits is not permitted.

4. Acceptable use

The following are prohibited:

• Performing illegal actions through the Service
• Attempting to compromise the server, other accounts, or security
• Automated use beyond reasonable limits (scraping, botting)
• Reselling or redistributing without written permission
• Reverse engineering, decompiling

Violations may result in account termination without refund.

5. Paid plans

5.1 Pricing

Current prices are listed on the site. We reserve the right to update prices for new subscribers; existing subscriptions retain their price until the end of the current period.

5.2 Auto-renewal

Monthly and annual subscriptions auto-renew. You can cancel at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal or via "Delete account".

5.3 Right of withdrawal (EU consumer law)

Pursuant to EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of conclusion, WITHOUT giving reasons and WITHOUT penalty.

5.4 Refund policy

• Erroneously charged payments → full refund within 14 days
• Technical issue caused by us (downtime > 24 hours) → pro-rated refund
• Change of mind after 14 days → no refund

6. Termination

6.1 By you

At any time via "Delete my account". Paid subscriptions continue until the end of the paid period; no refund for unused portion except as in 5.4.

6.2 By us

We may terminate your access in case of:

• Violation of these Terms
• Unpaid invoices > 30 days
• Service discontinuation (with 60-day notice)

7. Intellectual property

7.1 Our property

The source code, design and CuttingOpt.Pro brand are our intellectual property.

7.2 Your property

Data you input (stocks, parts, projects) remains entirely yours. We make no claim to it. You may export or delete it at any time.

7.3 License to us

You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not share, sell, or analyze beyond this.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

8.1 Service provided "as is"

We do not provide guarantees for:

• 100% uptime
• Error-free cuts
• Fitness for a particular purpose

8.2 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to:

• The amount you paid in the last 12 months, or
• EUR 100 — whichever is greater

Under no circumstances are we liable for:

• Indirect damages (loss of profits, data loss outside our fault)
• Errors in actual cutting due to reliance on our calculations

9. Changes to terms

For material changes we will notify registered users via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably are referred to:

• Bulgarian courts (forum), or
• EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
